*Helmet Scrim is period burlap, often in Green or Brown, that is tied to or placed under the Helmet Net.

➢ Shell Dressing

*The Shell Dressing is usually worn under the Helmet Net, ready to go at a moments notice. Also it helped serve to break up the distinctive outline of the Canadian Helmets. It was used for almost the entirety of the 20th Century and originals can be found all over.
