The Bren Gun is the most important asset in the Seaforth Highlander’s Rifle Section. It is the bulk of the firepower, and the tactics of the Rifle Section is formed around the firepower that the Bren Gun brings.
The Bren Gun Team is comprised of 3 members in the Canadian Rifle Section. The Bren Group Leader, the Bren No.1, and the Bren No.2. The Bren No.1 actually carried the Bren Gun, while the Group Leader and the Bren No.2 carried spare mags in Utility Pouches and kept the Bren Gun firing. The Bren No.1 would carry the Bren Gun Wallet, while the Bren No.2 would also carry the Bren Gun Pouch.
